Emily Berardi

At Wheaton, Emily Berardi was recognized for her numerous achievements as a pitcher and hitter. Her team won the 2015 NEWMAC regional championship and competed in the NCAA Super Regional as one of the 16 teams in the country. Emily took her softball career overseas representing Team USA in 2014 and 2015. She was nominated by Wheaton to be Woman of the Year in 2015. In 2025, she was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Boston Latin School. Emily shares her knowledge, experience, and love of softball with athletes at Newton Country Day School, where she is also a Latin teacher.

Emily is a former collegiate pitcher from Lancaster, MA. She has been coaching since 2017 and gives private and group lessons to pitchers from beginner to advanced! She loves helping her pitchers gain speed and accuracy through proper mechanics, all while having a fun and working hard. She is also a certified strength and conditioning coach and enjoys helping athletes improve their strength and speed, and teaching people how to reach their fitness goals!

Peyton is a pitching and hitting instructor with a wealth of experience and knowledge both playing and coaching. With the Fury and with her private lesson clients, Coach Peyton helps develop strong fundamentals skills that set athletes up for success as they progress through their softball journey. Advanced pitchers and hitters looking to get to the next level are encouraged to book a lesson with Peyton!

Coach Ally went to Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School where her team won the 2014 MA D1 State Championship. She was inducted into Bridgewater-Raynham's Hall of Fame in 2016. Ally went on to play at Lesley for 4 years, and had a successful career as a catcher and power hitter! Join Coach Ally for a catching or hitting lesson today!

Alyssa Bland
Catching & Hitting Instructor
Alyssa is a recent Lasell University graduate where she was a catcher and infielder. She is originally from Camden, Maine and studied Exercise Science. Alyssa has previous coaching experience and is an assistant coach for a 16u team in Midcoast Maine. Alyssa is passionate about sharing her love of the game and growing the next generation of athletes.
Alyssa is in Maine for the Summer, but will be back in the Fall 2026!

Brianna Gendreau
Catching & Hitting Instructor
Brianna is a former NCAA Division III softball player at Lasell University, where she played six seasons as a catcher and shortstop. She is originally from Warren, Rhode Island.
During her time at Lasell, she set multiple hitting and fielding records and developed a strong understanding of the game. She also has experience coaching at the collegiate level. She now enjoys working with athletes to help them build strong fundamentals, confidence, and love for the game.

Coach Callie has collegiate playing experience at Nichols College, where she played softball and basketball! She had an outstanding career at the plate and on the base path and was a lefty slapper and outfielder! A former assistant college coach at Clark University, Coach Callie is excited to share her knowledge with Ace athletes!

Danielle Jason (DJ)

10U Pitching Instructor
Coach Danielle is a former NCAA Division II All-American Softball player and accomplished softball coach who brings a championship mindset and passion for athlete development to Ace of Diamonds. A highly decorated player from Mid Valley High School and a standout collegiate outfielder at Robert Morris, Morgan State, and Tusculum University, she set multiple program records while also earning Academic All-American honors. With advanced degrees in Sport Management and Organizational Leadership and experience in recruiting, mentorship, and player development, Danielle focuses on building athletes’ confidence, fundamentals, and mental resilience to help them reach their full potential on and off the field.
Lesson Availability: Monday, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays
Erin Lockhart
Infield & Hitting Instructor

Harvard University '16-'19
Erin Lockhart is an experienced softball coach originally from Lincoln, Nebraska. She played four years of softball at Harvard University where she primarily played 3rd base, but brings experience from across the infield. Erin has coached athletes ranging from 10u to 18u and is passionate about helping players build confidence, improve techniques, and develop both on and off the field.

Katie Tobin

Coach Katie is a recent graduate from Curry College where she played infield! She has been a coach for the Newton Panthers travel organization for multiple summers, and will coach the 16U Panthers Orange team this summer! Katie is originally from Newton MA and went to Newton North High School!

Coach Sarah is a certified strength and conditioning coach, a cycling instructor, a power yoga instructor, and a certified nutrition coach! She will be offering personal training and group strength sessions on Tuesdays. Other days available by appointment only.
Ella Podhurst, RDN, CPT
Ella is a Registered Dietitian and personal trainer who works with athletes to improve strength, performance, and fueling habits. She combines evidence-based nutrition education with safe, age-appropriate training to help athletes feel strong, confident, and supported both on and off the field.
